Retirement Announcement

As we start our weddings for the season and gear up for a busy fall and spring I’m excited to announce I will be retiring after the completion of our Spring 2022 weddings and events. I didn’t come to this decision easily but after many discussions with my family, after battling and making it through cancer and Covid, a lot was learned and we were reminded just how precious life and time together is. I’m blessed to be given the opportunity to make Marc, Zack, Aidan and Lola my first priority going forward. Zack just entered his junior year of college. I’m excited to attend as many of his lacrosse games as possible and be there for his accomplishments. Aidan has entered into his senior year of high school. I look forward to seeing him shine on and off the lacrosse field and excited for what’s up next after he graduates at which time Marc and I will become empty nesters. Since 1996, through all the ups and downs, my loving and supportive husband Marc was by my side (even when I’m sure he didn’t want to do all those late night pickups and work multiple event dates after his full time job). I share some of our personal family experiences because many of you have seen our boys grow from babies at the studio, at all the weddings they attended in a baby carrier up until recent years as they’ve worked alongside us as amazing young men. Wow, just writing that brings tears to my eyes. So much of this business is very personal because you entrust us with one/many of the most important days of you and your families’ lives. It was an honor!

We at The Flower Studio would like to thank all our amazing clients, consultants and fabulous venues over the years who we have collaborated with and who have trusted us to create some of the most beautiful weddings and events.

2020 was a difficult year of cancelations and rescheduling for us all. The Flower Studio did our very best to accommodate our client’s needs and we will continue to do so until all our beautiful obligations are fulfilled. Last but definitely not least, The Flower Studio has been my other family and I want thank all the amazing, talented employees, designers and crew I have been blessed to work with over the past 25 years. I truly couldn’t have done it without your hard work, dedication, blood sweat and yes, tears, lots of tears. We shared many wonderful experiences in each other’s lives as well as some difficult hardships. I will be forever grateful for my Flower Studio family and friends. The memories will be cherished forever.
